Can you sort this out for me, because it doesn't say on your splash page, that you will totally over charge for postage. Original postal cost $5.78 (which i thought was very colossal ) and the price on the parcel was $8.00 AUS. Is this the way you make your money or was this a complete mistake. Hope you can resolve this, before i write your feedback. Big_builder 21/10/2004 12:41pm Re: bRICKLINK ORDER: #285951 Hi Tracey, Currency conversion is always confusing. The cost of postage from Australia can be estimated here http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/ as I point out on my splash page. The minimum for a parcel (airmail) from Aus to the UK is $8 Australian. At the time of the order, that converted to $5.78 US, which is what you were charged. Today you can see it has actually increased slightly due to currency fluctuation, see here: http://au.finance.yahoo.com/m5?a=8&s=AUD&t=USD&c=0 Note that surface mail would have been slightly cheaper at $6 Australian, but that can take up to 4 months to reach you. That is the reason I use economy airmail by default (as I say on my splash page). I hope this clears up any confusion. ROSCO 18/11/2004 8:03am Hi Tracey, Just wondering if you received my earlier email regarding shipping costs? In case you didn't I've included it below. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions. Regards ROSCO 28/12/2004 11:10am Hi Tracey, Haven't received any reply, and notice you haven't left any feedback yet either. Did my explanation (below) answer your question? Please let me know if there's any problem. ROSCO 28/12/2004 11:38am Hi I will leave feedback now, sorry my mistake, 10/01/2005 11:08am (still no feedback) You know, up till now it was just my feedback so I wasn't really worried about it. But then I see you have plenty of time to post in the forum about your sale, and about how rude you think the admins are http://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=79035 and that just ticks me off, after you all but accuse me of overcharging you, then can't find time to leave feedback STILL, after almost 3 months. Leave me negative feedback if you feel you must, but don't go slamming others till you get your own house in order. ROSCO 10/01/2005 11:10am Hi Rosco I will do you feedback after i write this e-mail, the postage was my fault, i didnt read your splash page, so i do apologise. Did you not find the comment about Rick totally rude and nasty because i did, and also i have, another admin being very rude to me also. Tell me what you think, if i read it wrong then please tell me. Best regards Stuart 10/01/2005 Positive feedback left by buyer
