August 2001-February 2002 This is the second in my line of Australian locomotives. The P-class are mainly used for regional passenger services around Victoria, generally in a push-pull arrangement, with one heading the train, and one at the rear. The second loco to be fitted with a 4-cylinder RoscoDiesel™, it's livery is mainly determined from the bricks I had available 8?) Anyway, here's some pictures. Those with good eyes will notice there's no coupler on the front - that's just 'cos I had no 2x3 plate with hole. This will be fixed in the near future. You can also download the Ldraw file here. There's a couple of differences between the CAD version and the real-life version: I added extra windows in the cab, and put access ladders on the front bogie. I wish part 2875 came in blue! Here's a photo from RailPage. This is a great Aussie rail enthusiast site. Well worth a visit. You can also see an N-class loco coupled behind it.
