Mecha: "Prelude" Print E-mail

February 2006

This is my first attempt at a mecha. It is from the late 2050s, when mecha have become the vehicle of choice, after the depletion of the world's oil supply, and the fall from favour of the bloody huge 4x4 as the preferred mode of transport.

The Prelude is aimed at the discerning young family. It has enough firepower for your worst case of range-rage, with it's ginormous pulse cannon and foldaway missile launcher. That should be enough to scare away any old ladies who threaten to take your parking spot at the mega mall.

And after the shooting, the discreet missile launcher can be folded away, and it's sleek and hip enough to take your kids to school in.

But enough of the sales talk, here's the pics.
