Brickshelf temporary reprieve

After the outcry, it appears Kevin has decided to make Brickshelf available again, but only temporarily. The message on the site reads “Brickshelf will be shutting down on 2007/07/31. Please save your files to your computer”. That will please a lot of people that didn’t have local copies.

Also, Bob Kojima has written a little backup program that lets you easily download folders, you can get the program here or here.

there’s a new message up on BS now. Instead of deleting it, they’re planning some kind of Premium system, where paying users are priviledged with more folder options etc. They don’t plan limitations for the new users, so it would stay for them as is.

Note: If your comment does not appear, it it probably because Askimet thinks it is spam. Fear not - if you let me know, I can restore it, but only up until 2 weeks after you leave it, at which time it will be automatically purged if it hasn't been restored.
