Linking to Instructions
January 12th, 2007 by RoscoHeadAdministrators of other websites are now able to link to my instruction cross-reference page. There are several ways to do this. The main link to the page is http://www.br-eng.info/words/?page_id=29, all other variations are linked by adding parameters to the end of that URL. The options are:
-
Instruction query –
&ins_qry=xxxYou can query the database via a link, by adding the ins_qry parameter. The search string must be numeric, between 3 and 7 digits. For example:
http://www.br-eng.info/words/?page_id=29&ins_qry=10030 -
LEGO Instruction code –
&ins_code=4xxxxxxIf you know the 7 digit LEGO code, you can link to it by adding the ins_code parameter. The search string must be numeric, 7 digits long, and start with “4”. For example:
http://www.br-eng.info/words/?page_id=29&ins_code=4187320 -
Peeron set code –
&ins_set=xxx-xIf you know the Peeron set number, you can link to it by adding the ins_set parameter. The search string must be numeric, between 3 and 7 digits, and contain a hyphen followed by the Peeron suffix. For example:
http://www.br-eng.info/words/?page_id=29&ins_set=10030-1
I hope others find these new features useful.
