NXT Miniature Chess

NXT Miniature Chess Well, I wasn’t intending to announce this until it was finished, but it’s unlikely to be finished anytime soon because:

  1. There’s a bug somewhere that’s proved hard to track down, and
  2. I have to move early in January, followed by my special assignment in Sydney, so won’t have time to work on it for a while

So I figure I might as well publish what I’ve got so far.

NXT Snake game My second NXT project came from an idea on NXTasy.org for using a LEGO built joystick for game input. I couldn’t be bothered building a joystick, but the idea of a snake game appealed, so here it is.

Well, I’ve been playing a bit with NBC on my NXT lately, and the first program I like to write in any new language is Tic Tac Toe, so here is my NXT version. You are always “X” and have the first move. NXT plays for the draw, but will win if you stuff up! Use the arrow keys and enter key on the NXT to play.
